Tenents of Faith

  • We believe in the virgin birth and deity of our Lord Jesus Christ
  • We believe that Jesus is God’s Son, was born in the flesh, and is the only sacrifice for sin
  • We believe that man must be born again to receive eternal life
  • We believe in eternal reward for the believer (Heaven)
  • We believe in eternal damnation for the lost (Hell)
  • We believe in the infallibility of the Scriptures
  • We believe that divine healing is part of redemption and is God’s will for all who believe
  • We believe that Jesus arose bodily from the dead
  • We believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit (Baptism of the Holy Spirit)
  • We believe that speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

GVSM Standard & Culture

GV School of Missions is not a place to receive rehabilitation and it’s not a school for those just coming out of lifestyle sins. Our learning environment and school are not structured to help those struggling with self-control. Our focus as a ministry training center is not on correcting behavior in students, but our focus is to grow their potential to be in full-time ministry leadership positions. We are happy to recommend alternate ministries that can help students who are leaving challenging lifestyle circumstances.

  • We live to bring glory to God, being selfless, and living to serve. (Philippians 2:5-8)
  • We strive to renew our minds daily, keeping a positive mental attitude, and outlook on everything. (Philippians 4:8 & 1:9-10)
  • We always bring our best, living a life of excellence in everything that we do.
  • We honor our leaders, as well as each other. We always go the extra mile. (Colossians 3:23)
  • We are better together. We work together as a TEAM to help everyone win, keeping WE before I. (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
  • We are effective and efficient with our time, priorities, and responsibilities, knowing that our time is essential to reaching the masses. “We work hard, rest hard, and play hard.” (Ephesians 5:15-16)
  • We are leaders, and strive to live a life that others can follow. We are influencers for the Kingdom; being an example of Jesus in everything that we do. (1 Corinthians 11:1)
  • We see things through the lens of harvest and reaching the lost. We are eternally minded. (Mark 16:15 & Colossians 3:2)
